The text hidden in art

​ Does art speak? Is there a language that can be used to ‚read’ art? Of course, there is, and it is a very rich, intricate, and intimate dialect, at our service!  When I plan classes to prepare my DP2 English B students for their individual oral, I always do this activity to give the 3-4 student presentation a twist, namely replace the fragment of a set book with a piece of art- painting, drawing, picture. The students are to prepare their ‘engage with the text presentation’ based on a piece of art they choose or are given, just like in the lesson plan  I created. Alternatively, you can always try to turn for AI to help you generate images/ art that you would like your students to explore, yet don’t want to waste time searching for:) My recommendations will be, for example,  Nightcafe   or  Neutral love , where the picture accompanying this post comes from (I wrote ‘individual presentation’ as the prompt:)  Enjoy!  Just a side note, hope you don’t min...
